The little
house The little house is a building separate form the main
one. It is built with the typical Colli Euganei stone. It used to
be a hen house.
Luisa and Domenico restored it completely and now it is a beautiful
example of the typical 19th century peasant architecture of Veneto.
Every detail inside the building has been carefully taken care of:
from the built-in wardrobes, made from the old hen perches, to the
golden and ivory curtains that contribute to make the house colourful
and cosy. By the entrance lies a beautiful threshing floor made
of bricks that used to be the area on which cereals and other produce
were put to dry. It is a nice place for staying in good company. All around, there
are plants and trees and a hedge of pink hydrangeas that make the
area elegant and colourful. |

The land
steward room
This room can accomodate 5 people and was made up from two adjacent
rooms to form a one-roomed flat. It does not have a kitchen.
It used to be part of the main building and part of the the old
barn. Also this lodge has been furnished according to the old country
style, it is very simple with warm colours especially old rose and
dark green.
The bathroom colour is aquamarine. |

The Venetian
room The Venetian room has a double bed and used to be the
old barn. Some of the walls are made of Montemerlo trachyte, while
the furniture is in Venetian style.
The ambience is cosy and romantic and a warm and elegant colour
golden predominates. The bathroom is quite big and it's colour is
pearl rose.

The wistaria
room
The wistaria room has an independent entrance too. Before its refurbishing
it used to be the cellar of the farm family. This is why its walls
are thick and help keeping the interior cool during summer and warm
in winter.
By its door there is a beautiful scented wistaria pergola for the
ones who wish to stay there and chat in company.
The furniture is simple peasant craftmanship and
this is what characterizes the whole building.
This room can accomodate a family of four as there is a sofa-bed
suited for two children.

Grandparents'
room
In this place one can feel the typical atmophere of peasant craftmanship.
Furniture belonged to Luisa's great-grandfather: There are hand-embroidered
curtains made by Palmira, the lady of the house's mother, who worked
at them for her 1950's wedding trousseau. Furniture has been restored
for our guests' comfort.
The room is located in the main building and occupies an entire
floor. |
